Rainbow White Chocolate Tart Recipe

A few weeks ago, my family had a family party and I was tasked with coming up with a dessert that we haven’t all eaten a million times.

Now, because I’m me, I couldn’t just google a recipe and be done with it, no. I had to create my own recipe that was:

  • Different
  • Sweet
  • Able to resist the ridiculously high temperatures we’ve been having
  • Rainbowable

Knowing my family’s sweet tooth and love for white chocolate, and knowing I was about to go into rainbowland, the choice was clear.

Rainbow White Chocolate Tart

A colorful tart for white chocolate lovers that will withstand summer temperatures

  • 200 grams heavy cream
  • 2 sheets gelatin
  • 200 grams graham crackers
  • 75 grams butter
  • 50 grams sugar

Graham Cracker Crust

  1. Mince the graham crackers (either by hand or with a food processor), and mix them with butter and sugar, until they form a paste.

  2. Butter up your tart plate, and press the cracker paste until the whole plate is covered.

  3. Bake in a 200 degree C oven for 8/10 minutes.

White Chocolate Filling

  2. In a microwave safe bowl, heat up heavy cream, then add chopped white chocolate. Stir until melted.

  3. Add gelatin to the melted white chocolate and stir until fully incorporated.

The Rainbow
