Now, because I’m me, I couldn’t just google a recipe and be done with it, no. I had to create my own recipe that was:
- Able to resist the ridiculously high temperatures we’ve been having
Knowing my family’s sweet tooth and love for white chocolate, and knowing I was about to go into rainbowland, the choice was clear.
Rainbow White Chocolate Tart
A colorful tart for white chocolate lovers that will withstand summer temperatures
- 200 grams white chocolate
- 200 grams heavy cream
- 2 sheets gelatin
- 200 grams graham crackers
- 75 grams butter
- 50 grams sugar
Graham Cracker Crust
Mince the graham crackers (either by hand or with a food processor), and mix them with butter and sugar, until they form a paste.
Butter up your tart plate, and press the cracker paste until the whole plate is covered.
Bake in a 200 degree C oven for 8/10 minutes.
White Chocolate Filling
Place gelatin sheets in a bowl with cold water for a few minutes, until gelatin is soft.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat up heavy cream, then add chopped white chocolate. Stir until melted.
Add gelatin to the melted white chocolate and stir until fully incorporated.
Divide the white chocolate into six different bowls, and add the corresponding food coloring.
Pour the white chocolate mixture into the baked graham cracker crust. Chill until it's serving time.
