Healthy Smoothies (Strawberry, Pineapple, Spinach)

Can liquids be considered snacks? What about creamy, slightly foamy, full of delicious fruit and healthy nutrients liquids? Are Healthy Smoothies snacks?

Since they’re more nutritious and filling than a lot of snacks, I’m gonna go ahead and say that yes, healthy smoothies are most definitely snacks.

Good thing too, because I drink smoothies basically every day of my life. Simple strawberry smoothie if I’m feeling basic, green smoothie if I ate like crap all day, berries or tropical fruits if I’m adventurous.

This is my every-day basic recipe, that takes just a few minutes to make but is awesome (for taste and health).

Healthy Summer Smoothie

A Triple Threat Smoothie that is refreshingly delicious!

  • 200 grams strawberries
  • 150 ml milk soy or cow
  • sugar/stevia to taste


  • 200 grams pineapple
  • 150 ml milk soy or cow
  • sugar/stevia to taste


  • 2 banana
  • 100 grams spinach
  • 100 ml milk soy or cow
  • sugar/stevia to taste


  1. In a jug blender, or with a hand blender, mash the strawberries, milk, and sugar/stevia until smooth. Remove and set aside.

  2. Repeat for banana and green smoothies.

  3. Drizzle spoonfuls of the three smoothies into one cup for a tie dye effect.

  4. Drink while cold.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: two cubes of Stevia (approximately 10 grams) is enough to sweeten each smoothie recipe.

Note 2: use frozen fruit for a thicker and creamier smoothie.

Healthy Smoothies

If you’re feeling lazy, you can just toss all of the ingredients in the blender at the same time and go to town, but I prefer to do it by stages if nothing else because it looks pretty and has a more interesting flavor palette.

If you’re scared about the green healthy smoothie, as so many people are, don’t be. Banana has an overpowering flavor that masks even the denser tasting dark green, and spinach is no exception. The dark green bit of the smoothie will just taste like banana, which is only an issue if you hate bananas.

(If you do hate bananas, just skip the green portion of this recipe and stick with strawberries and pineapples.)

Once you blend all three components, you can layer them in a cup like so.
